Like Father, Like Son

Once again...I have two pictures that show you how much Judah is like his Daddy.  We took this picture when we were in San Diego, and when I saw it, it reminded me of an old picture of Nathan.  In the first picture Nathan is a little boy wearing his daddy's glasses.  In the second, Judah is wearing his grandpa's glasses.  You can see how Nathan's Dad's glasses have changed with the years!  :-)

Carlsbad, CA

We got back last week from our annual Southern California trip.  We stayed in a new place this year with Nathan's brother and wife and their son Micah, and then Bethanne's sister and new husband.  It was so much fun.  We found this great condo right on the beach.  It was peaceful and blissfully cool the whole week. Judah LOVED LOVED LOVED the ocean...but wasn't a great fan of the sand.  He wasn't a big fan of walking on the sand, unless he had his sandals on.  But he loved running into the waves and laughed every time a wave came up and hit him. Totally the opposite reaction of what I thought he'd have.  Here are lots of pictures from the week we had there...

Well...It had to end sometime, it just makes it a little more difficult, when we come back to sweltering heat in Phoenix!  We definitely look forward to going back again next year!  Until then...
