1st Haircut

So, after we many many comments about our son's seeming mullet...we decided to give Judah a haircut. I am so glad that Nathan was here to do it, because I was a little nervous about messing his hair up beyond repair. We didn't make a huge change, just trimmed up the back and sides so that the back wasn't longer than the top!! :-) Here's some before pictures:

1st Time Swimming

Last Friday, I took Judah swimming for the first time. It was a beautiful warm sunny day and the pool was nice and cool. He did AMAZING! I am so glad. I was a total waterbug growing up, and hoped he would love the water as well. He didn't cry once. I should have known, because he is proving more and more to be an adventurer and not much fazes him. He had fun splashing and hitting the water, and especially laughed as he watched Will Barret swimming in the water. (Did I mention we went swimming with our good friends the Barretts. I'm so glad I did too, because Stacy reminded me of great things to do with him to teach him to swim.) When I took him under the water the first time, he swallowed a bit of water and came up sputtering and coughing, but he still didn't cough. Then Stacy showed me some tricks, and soon he was going under water and learning to hold his breath. This little boy amazes me. He has no fear and did such a great job!

Seriously...tell me this isn't the cutest little boy!! (I may be biased, but still!)

Seriously had fun this day and Judah took a GREAT nap that afternoon!!

1st Birthday Party

Well, our little boy did it. He turned One on Sunday and we celebrated the day before with his 1st birthday party. We had lots of family and some close friends come and celebrate with us and had a great time.
